The casino was built in 1911, on the former castle of Blonay, by the architect Jean Albert Hebrard. This casino of Evian is covered with a dome of neo-Byzantine style, and inaugurated in 1912. During the First World War, the place was used to welcome refugees. Initially municipal, it is entrusted by the city to the Société des Eaux which then becomes the property of the Danone2 Group. In 2014 and 2015, a restoration was led by François Chatillon, architect of the Monuments historiques. From 2021 to 2024, another architect, Philippe Prost, intervened at Danone’s request to give the building even more lustre.
